The records are generally visually graded. Do marks/scratches appear that may cause noise, we always listen and make comments about the sound in the grading. For instance; “2 cm hairline does not affect play”. We often also add individual comments. Especially, this goes for records graded VG or VG+.
M:
Vinyl is unplayed/cover is as new (generally sealed).
NM:
Vinyl/cover condition is as new.
EX:
Vinyl/cover is in great shape. Lesser signs of record being used may appear. The sound quality is however generally as good as NM.
VG+:
The vinyl has been played a few times, but the soundquality is still fine. Some surface noise may however appear. Cover is slightly worn; it may have some ring- or edgewear.
VG:
The vinyl is visually worn, but plays OK, sometimes fine. Cover is worn and may for instance have ring/edgewear or split seams. We always add individual comments to a VG-grading.
